I don´t know about you but I hate ironing – I´m an ex army man and in basic training I can still remember having to do show parades a – lot – because of my poor ironing skills lol – eventually it sunk in that I had to do a good job of it cos it was creating me a lot of grief!!. I think it stuck with me and that´s why I just hate it – my wife on the other hand loves ironing – she finds it therapeutic – which I find odd but which is good for me – so when she needed a new iron and suggested looking at Steam Presses I though oh oh! – this is going to be expensive so I was very surprised to find that you can purchase one for not much more than a top of the range iron.
We spent some time looking at the various models at one of our favourite sites allbrands.com cos they have a huge product range and we love their customer service so we ended up buying the SP 660 and it is incredible value, you´ll have to spend some time practising with it as it is different from a hand iron but my wife reckons, as do others who bought this, that it cuts down ironing time by over 50% once you´re used to it.
I´ve set out the details of the SP 660 but go for the larger and heavier SF 680, which is going to supercede the 660, you´ll not regret it….
